Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate administration, office management, and customer relationship management. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, maintaining tenant satisfaction, and maximizing property value.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Coordinate and oversee property maintenance and repairs
- Advertise and market available properties to attract prospective tenants
- Screen potential tenants by conducting background checks and verifying references
- Negotiate lease agreements and enforce lease terms
- Collect rent payments and manage delinquencies
- Maintain accurate records of income, expenses, and tenant information
- Stay up-to-date with fair housing regulations and ensure compliance at all times
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or related field preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Knowledge of office management procedures and systems
- Ability to handle conflict situations with professionalism and diplomacy
- Familiarity with fair housing regulations and landlord/tenant laws
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Experience in facilities management is a plus
- Knowledge of property leasing processes is desirable
